Virtual Fiberoptic Network OFC2019

During a Plenary session at OFC2019, Alex Jinsung Choi introduced Terragraph. This mmWave technology allows gigabit wireless transmission "Fiber-in-the-Air" networking, eliminating the need to lay optical fiber cable. We can now have high-speed fixed broadband service with this new virtual fiber network. This technology fosters a faster and cheaper way

of deploying a high speed network in urban areas.
